A Surprise Sale and Vintage Assemblage Jewelry for Little Girls

I'm having a sale in the Etsy Shop...
look for the items marked "SUNDAY SALE" for 15% off lots of things. I'm kinda diggin' pink lately...apparently it is the Pantone Color of the Year as well...a color called Honeysuckle, which is a reddish pink. I like happy colors like pink.
I'm also starting a small jewelry line of lead and nickel free vintage jewelry for little girls. Thinking about doing  "mommie and me" earrings and such. For now I have made up some sweet little vintage earrings and hairpins. (I'm listing them today)
teenie vintage porcelain studs

sweet vintage rose hairpins
Would you mind leaving a comment  telling me what your favorite color is to wear? I'm always curious about what colors you like. Do you like the vintage jewelry for little girls idea? No need to sign in. You can leave an anonymous comment with just your name! No passwords and word verifications and such.

Oh, and I have new boxes...kind of like faux Tiffany was kind of an accident because I ordered white and ended up with these instead...and I like the color, so I bought some ribbon to compliment it and have lots of these vintage millinery flowers on hand....and Voila!(did I spell that right?)
So, this is my new wrapping these days...I mix it up a little with monograms and such. I love for my sweet customers to feel like they are not just making a purchase, but they are receiving a gift of love...sounds a little corny, I know, but seriously this is what I do.
I create the jewelry and then I place it on my little "altar" above my table for the night before I photograph and list it. I thank God for the gift of being able to create and I ask blessings for my readers and my dear customers and I say a prayer that goes something like, "may those who wear the work of my hands, and read my words feel the love I put into each and every piece."
Thank you, each and every one of you for being here today. For reading my words. For leaving such heartfelt comments. For your prayers for healing. I am so grateful for each and every single one of you. So grateful.

  2. You know Jennifer when you were talking about dressing yourself in color and said you used to wear black, that is what I do...wear black. I have two black turtlenecks and a navy one and that is all I wear. I guess it's because all my love for color goes into my art. SO! What is nice about black is you can wear any color of jewelry with with it, well, just about. Today I have on this ratty old plaid flannel shirt and a blue turtleneck and I'm not liking it. Suggestions?

  3. BTW, I forgot to tell you I love love love your new packaging. I love your blog page, it's so beautiful and every post is like walking into a gorgeous vintage shop. LOVE IT!! ((hugs)) ♥

  4. Not corny Jennifer, you make us all feel special. I think mommy and me is a cute idea, why not give it a try? Love the boxes, that's one of my very favorite colors.
As far as what I like to copper, blue(like your boxes), black,
crimson, and green. I love all my earrings from you. :)
Have a great week my friend!

  5. Beautiful packaging, as befitting your gorgeous creations, made with love! My all-time fave color is teal blue or aqua. I also quite like red. (And yes, you spelled voila right). :)

  6. Good morning, Jennifer! I am always happy to see a new blog post from you; it is like opening a much-anticipated gift - so thank you for that. :) Although my daughter is at college, I love the "Mommie & Me" idea! I most definitely would have bought us some matching jewelry. I used to run a little girls' dress-up and tea party business, and I believe that there are plenty of moms ought there who would enjoy it, too. We'll just have to get the word out for you! Thanks for the prayers over your creations; they do, in fact, bring joy and beauty to my life, and I, for one, feel the love. :) As far as what colors I wear, THIS may sound corny but I wear a different color every day of the week and try to add a splash of a different color. Today it will be brown with pink, tomorrow blue with lime green, etc. It is fun to mix it up! Blessings & Bear Hugs, Karen
